Community Build, in partnership with Bayside Housing and Services and the Community United Methodist Church, finished the development of a temporary tiny house village in Port Hadlock, WA, January, 2021. Thanks to the efforts of the community, twelve people in need of emergency housing were sheltered.
The village is a temporary shelter with twelve temporary tiny house bedrooms, a mobile bath facility and a mobile kitchen. The village was named in Honor of Peter Bonyun and his early contributions on getting the momentum of the project rolling and connecting the members of the community that made this happen.
The village is located on the Church’s property, with Bayside the managing organization that supports the residents.
